The Center for Academic Support and Student Success (CASSS) works collaboratively with each Division, as well as Student Life, to ensure a student’s growth, support, and success. The Center functions at the intersection of Academic Affairs, Student Engagement, Enrollment Management, and Success. As a result, students can engage in traditional methods of academic support such as tutoring and mentoring, while experiencing co-curricular activities beyond the traditional scope of academic support.

We have kicked-off registration strong, and we want to keep up the momentum.
Operation Registration is the university’s push to encourage students to get registered as soon as possible. On-Campus Students will be able to self-register for summer and fall classes and this video gives a step-by-step on the process. All students have the option to contact their program advisor to assist with registration.

We provide free:

  • quality academic advising
  • tutoring
  • mentoring, and a host of other services. Our goal is to assist our students with choices of major, career paths, and academic advancement.

If you are a First-Year student at Wilberforce University with < 30 credit hours passed, and/or are an Undeclared major, then your Success Coaches are within CASSS. Please see Ms. Gernisha Parnell for assistance.
