Residence Life
Residence life is where friendships are forged, identities grow, and your college story begins. We can't wait to welcome you
Living Communities Built for Student Success
Wilberforce offers thoughtfully designed living spaces that go beyond four walls — they're environments crafted to support your academic journey and personal growth.
Through strategic leadership and continuous improvement, we ensure that academic programs remain relevant, innovative, and aligned with global standards.

Living Communities
Henderson Hall
A welcoming community reserved for our male students, featuring suite-style living with shared lounge spaces perfect for studying, bonding, and relaxing.
Living Learning Community
Home to our female students, the LLC integrates academic resources with residential life — creating a vibrant environment where learning extends beyond the classroom.
Temporary Off-Campus Housing
Available while on-campus renovation projects are underway, this option keeps you close to campus life with the full support of the Residence Life team.
Living together in a community is a unique opportunity. We recognize students come to Wilberforce with many different experiences and expectations. To create common ground for all student residents, we expect them to embrace and abide by guidelines for living in the residence halls. Students can find the guidelines in the Welcome to the Neighborhood Guide. Work Order Request Form.
Students are responsible for their items and living space in university-sponsored housing. We encourage students to purchase renter’s insurance to cover items that may be lost or stolen.
We also reserve the right to remove students from University-sponsored housing upon the discretion of University staff, violations of the code of conduct, residence hall policies, and/or safety concerns. Students who are removed will be provided with 48-hour notice to vacate the premises and will continue to be charged for housing and any fines they have incurred.
Students must adhere to expectations set forth by the Honor Code and Student Code of Conduct.
First-Year Students: All incoming first-year students are required to live on campus. This requirement ensures you hit the ground running — building community, accessing resources, and thriving from day one.
